
Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMPK) in Kolkata and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) have reaffirmed their partnership to bolster India's ship repair sector. During a visit to CSL's facility, SMPK Chairman Rathendra Raman received a Rs 5.94 crore shared profit cheque from CSL CMD Madhu Nair, representing earnings from their joint venture, the Cochin-Kolkata Ship Repair Unit (CKSRU). Both leaders expressed commitment to expanding indigenous ship repair capabilities and supporting the 'Make in India' initiative.
