Metropolitan Stock Exchange to Open for Trading on February 1, 2026 Budget Day

The Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India (MSEI) will conduct a live trading session on Sunday, February 1, 2026, coinciding with the Union Budget presentation. This special session follows similar moves by BSE and NSE, with trading hours from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm and a pre-open session from 9:00 am to 9:08 am. MSEI is also set to begin live trading on January 27, initially offering 130 stocks, with clearing managed by its subsidiary MCCIL.
