NHAI Releases First Ranking of DPR Consultants for National Highways

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has released its first-ever ranking of 56 consultants preparing detailed project reports (DPRs) for national highway projects. Chaitanya Project Consultancy, Pentacle Consultant, and L T Infrastructure Engineering emerged as the top three, with scores up to 80.75 on a 100-point scale. The provisional ratings aim to enhance transparency and quality, potentially influencing future contract awards. The move follows concerns over faulty DPRs contributing to highway issues, with the government signaling penalties for non-compliance.
