
Volkswagen has unveiled the India-spec Tayron R-Line, a premium seven-seater SUV positioned above the Tiguan R-Line, marking its return to the three-row SUV segment. Built on the MQB EVO platform with a 2,789mm wheelbase, it offers spacious interiors, advanced features like a 15-inch touchscreen, and strong safety credentials including a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Expected to be locally assembled as a CKD unit, the Tayron R-Line is priced between Rs 45-50 lakh and is slated for launch in early 2026.
