A report by Genius HRTech reveals that nearly 75% of companies in India expect increased adoption of structured fixed-term employment following the implementation of new labour codes in November 2025. These codes consolidate 29 central labour laws into four comprehensive codes aimed at simplifying compliance and enhancing worker welfare. While 40% of surveyed organisations are fully ready to implement the reforms, 21% have yet to begin preparations, indicating a readiness gap. Additionally, 46% have not started structured gap analyses across HR and compliance systems.
