
Malabar Gold Diamonds announced plans to open 20 new showrooms by the end of the month, investing Rs 1,580 crore and creating over 725 jobs. The new outlets will be located across various Indian cities, including Jhansi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Guwahati. This expansion will increase the company's global showroom count to 445 across 14 countries and 22 Indian states and union territories. Chairman MP Ahammad highlighted the move as a commitment to India's long-term growth and enhancing jewellery retail access.
