Waaree Energies Secures 500 MW Solar Module Order, Plans Battery Storage Expansion

Waaree Energies has secured a one-time order to supply 500 MW of solar modules to a domestic solar power developer and independent power producer for the financial year 2026-27. The company reported a significant year-on-year profit increase in Q3 FY26. Additionally, Waaree is planning to expand its battery storage capacity from 3.5 GWh to 20 GWh with an estimated Rs 8,000 crore investment, including talks with state governments for new manufacturing facilities.
