Copper Futures Slightly Decline While Zinc Futures Rise Amid Muted Global Trends
On May 27, copper futures in India marginally declined to Rs 1,332.70 per kilogram, influenced by subdued global trends and weak domestic demand. The June copper contract also saw a slight decrease. Conversely, zinc futures edged up by 10 paise to Rs 367.60 per kilogram, supported by modest domestic buying despite flat international prices. Overseas markets showed little movement, with London Metal Exchange copper and zinc futures trading mostly flat.
