Bharat Taxi, a new ride-hailing service, launched today in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, positioning itself as an alternative to existing platforms like Ola and Uber. The service emphasizes fixed fares, aiming to eliminate surge pricing that often increases costs during peak hours or adverse weather. Pricing starts at Rs 30 for the initial 4 kilometers, with subsequent rates of Rs 23 per kilometer for distances between 4 and 12 kilometers, and Rs 18 per kilometer for longer trips.
