
Bengaluru's Namma Metro Yellow Line has added a seventh train on the RV Road-Bommasandra route from January 15, 2026, reducing peak-hour train intervals from 13 to 10 minutes on weekdays and slightly improving Sunday frequency. The new driverless train increases passenger capacity and aims to ease congestion. Additionally, mobile QR code-based unlimited travel passes for one, three, and five days have been introduced to streamline commuter access without security deposits, enhancing convenience.
