
Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), backed by the Adani Group, surpassed one lakh passengers within 19 days of commencing commercial operations on December 25, 2025. As of January 12, it handled 1,09,917 passengers, with 7,345 on its busiest day, January 10. The airport managed 734 air traffic movements, processed over 79,000 bags, and handled 22.21 tonnes of cargo. Delhi, Goa, and Bengaluru are the top routes. NMIA continues to scale up services with a focus on efficiency and safety, planning to start international flights after February.
