A four-member Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) committee has submitted its confidential report to the Ministry of Civil Aviation regarding the massive IndiGo flight disruptions in early December. The probe, led by Joint Director General Sanjay K Bramhane, focused on crew planning, regulatory compliance, and crisis communication failures, particularly concerning new Flight Duty Time Limitations (FTDL) norms. The report's findings are expected to guide potential penalties or regulatory actions against the airline, which had already faced a 10% reduction in its winter schedule and show-cause notices to its CEO and COO.
