The Bombay High Court has permitted CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt Ltd to register the sale deed for a Mazgaon plot, previously auctioned for ₹430 crore. This decision overturns a Mumbai police Economic Offences Wing (EOW) communication that had halted the registration. The EOW had sought to attach the property, alleging the developer, Radius Sumer Developers, defrauded 90 flat buyers of ₹210 crore. The court ruled the EOW could not prevent the registration of a sale deed for a property purchased by an auction purchaser during the pendency of such a proposal.
