Jharkhand Advances Digital Procurement with GeM Ranking and Platform Enhancements

Jharkhand ranks 10th nationally in Government e-Marketplace (GeM) transactions, with over Rs 45,000 crore in business since 2016. The state government has procured goods worth Rs 7,900 crore through more than 1.5 lakh orders, benefiting MSMEs significantly. A recent GeM Excellence event in Ranchi highlighted new platform features, reforms, and the push for transparent, efficient digital procurement across state departments, with officials emphasizing fair competition and future technology integration.
