India's top-10 most valued firms saw a combined market valuation decline of Rs 2.18 lakh crore last week amid a 1.84% drop in the BSE Sensex. Bharti Airtel experienced the largest erosion, losing over Rs 55,800 crore. Other major declines included HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance, and Tata Consultancy Services. Hindustan Unilever was the sole gainer, adding Rs 5,462 crore. Market pressure was attributed to geopolitical tensions and weakness in technology stocks.
