
India's National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) aims to establish the country as a global leader in clean hydrogen by 2030, supported by 125 GW of renewable energy capacity and over Rs 8,000 billion in investments. The mission has assigned significant production and electrolyzer manufacturing capacities to various companies. This article highlights NTPC Ltd., India's largest power utility, as a key player in the green hydrogen sector, showcasing its integrated green hydrogen ecosystem in Leh, which includes a solar plant, electrolyzer system, and a certified hydrogen refuelling station powering FCEV buses.
