An IndiGo flight from Vijayawada to Hyderabad was cancelled on March 5 due to a technical snag detected after the aircraft landed and taxied to the bay. The plane remains grounded pending repairs and spare parts. Passengers, including Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister G Ravi Kumar, were accommodated on alternate flights routed via Bengaluru. No passengers had boarded before the cancellation, and travel plans were adjusted accordingly.
