IndiGo Faces Regulatory Penalty, Assures DGCA of Stable Operations Post February 10

IndiGo faced significant flight disruptions in December due to pilot shortages and new flight duty time limitation (FDTL) rules, leading to thousands of cancellations and a Rs 22.20 crore fine by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The airline assured the DGCA it now has sufficient pilots and expects operational stability with no cancellations after the February 10 deadline when FDTL exemptions expire.
