The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has frozen approximately ₹192 crore in bank deposits, fixed deposits, and mutual funds belonging to ZO Games Pvt. Ltd., an Indian subsidiary of online gaming app WinZO. The action follows searches at WinZO's accounting firm. The ED alleges WinZO engaged in fraudulent practices, including using bots and AI against players and limiting withdrawals, generating substantial proceeds of crime. Previous actions in November had frozen ₹505 crore in assets. WinZO co-founders were arrested, with one granted bail and the other denied.
