
Balkrishna Industries (BKT) has entered India's consumer tyre market with the launch of two-wheeler tyres, Zenova and Thyros, and plans to introduce medium and heavy commercial vehicle radial tyres by Q1 FY27. The company aims to invest Rs 3,500 crore in capacity expansion, R&D, and branding, targeting Rs 23,000 crore revenue by FY30, with about 20% from on-highway tyres. BKT will produce tyres at its Kutch plant and use a distributor sales model, focusing initially on the replacement market.
