
A Greek-flagged tanker, Maran Homer, was struck by an unidentified object on March 14 while awaiting orders to enter the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Terminal near Novorossiysk. The vessel, positioned outside Russian territorial waters and scheduled to load Kazakh crude oil, sustained minor damage. The incident occurred at approximately 4:35 a.m. local time, according to the tanker’s operator, Maran Tankers.
