Private equity investments in Indian real estate surged 59% to $6.7 billion in 2025, reaching pre-pandemic levels, according to Savills India. Overseas institutional capital drove this growth, comprising 76% of inflows. The office segment led investments with 35.3%, followed by data centers (23.2%) and residential (21%). Land also remained a key asset class. Experts anticipate continued growth in 2026, with Private Equity and REITs playing a larger role.
