Arunachal Governor Launches Programme to Support MSME Development and Skills Training

Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik launched a 'Business Transformation Programme' aimed at micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to foster state development. He highlighted opportunities in sectors like tourism, waste management, coaching, and preservation of local languages, emphasizing the need for skills in business planning, financial management, marketing, and technology adoption. The governor welcomed the Confederation of Indian Industry's proposal to establish a Multi Skill Training Institute to provide industry-aligned training for youth, noting MSMEs' significant role in the state's economy and employment.
