India's active technology job openings have fallen by 24% year-on-year, reaching a six-year low of 103,000 in January. This figure is significantly down from a peak of 262,000 four years ago and 133,000 in January 2023. The tech sector has also lost its status as the primary contributor to job openings, with the non-tech sector now holding that position for over three years. Openings have decreased across all levels, with senior roles seeing the largest drop.
