Info Edge Launches Rs 250 Crore Growth-Stage Investment Fund B8 Fund I

Info Edge has launched B8 Fund I, its first dedicated growth-stage investment vehicle with a capital commitment of up to Rs 250 crore. Registered as a Category II alternative investment fund with SEBI, the fund will invest in tech-enabled companies primarily focused on India over an eight-year tenure. Info Edge will manage the fund through its wholly owned subsidiary, maintaining operational control. The company already operates multiple early-stage venture platforms and has backed several startups through these and direct investments.
