Toyota is recalling over 51,000 Camry hybrid vehicles in the U.S. from model years 2025-2026, along with 3,761 units of the 2026 Corolla Cross hybrid, due to a potential defect in the inverter assembly. A loose bolt in this component could lead to unexpected power loss or, in rare instances, a fire risk. Toyota has received 34 incident reports and 15 warranty claims related to this issue. A permanent fix is still being developed, and owners will be notified by February 13, 2026, with repairs to be conducted free of charge.
