India's Hiring Rises 15% in December, Driven by AI Growth: Report

India's job market experienced a measured expansion in December 2025, with hiring activity increasing 15% year-on-year and 5% month-on-month, according to a foundit Insights Tracker report. Artificial Intelligence was a key driver, accounting for 290,256 roles posted in 2025. AI hiring is projected to grow 32% in 2026, reaching nearly 3.8 lakh roles. The IT sector led AI job postings, followed by BFSI and manufacturing, with significant growth also seen in healthcare, retail, and logistics.
