
Shipping company Maersk has temporarily suspended most cargo bookings to and from several Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and select Gulf states, amid regional tensions. While some ports like Jeddah, King Abdullah, and Salalah remain operational, disruptions also affect shipping routes between India and Upper Gulf markets. Additionally, air cargo operations face challenges due to airspace restrictions and flight cancellations.
