NFRA to Publish Inspection Reports of Top 10 Audit Firms by March 2026

The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) plans to release inspection reports for 10 major audit firms, including the Big Four, by March 2026. Since 2023, NFRA has issued 12 reports and is currently finalizing the latest inspections covering firm-wide quality controls and individual audit engagements. Officials noted improvements in audit quality but highlighted ongoing challenges such as documentation, independence, and related party transaction disclosures. The inspections aim to enhance financial reporting standards and auditor accountability.
