JSW Motors, the passenger vehicle division of the JSW Group, plans to launch its first independent model in India this year—a rebadged Jetour T2 SUV developed in partnership with China's Chery Automobile. The SUV, expected by Q3 2026, will be assembled at JSW's new plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. India will receive the plug-in hybrid T2 i-DM variant, featuring a 1.5-litre engine with electric motor, though drivetrain options remain unconfirmed. The SUV has a boxy design inspired by the Land Rover Defender and will be positioned as a five-seater, with pricing yet to be announced.
