Tate Brothers Offer $250,000 to Buy Viral Japanese Baby Monkey Punch

Andrew and Tristan Tate have offered approximately Rs 2.27 crore (250,000 USD) to buy Punch, a seven-month-old macaque monkey living at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan. Punch, abandoned by his mother shortly after birth, has gained viral popularity online, especially for his attachment to an orange orangutan soft toy. While some social media users criticized the offer, fearing monetization of the animal, others supported the proposal. The soft toy is part of IKEA's DJUNGELSKOG collection, an awareness campaign for endangered wildlife.
