Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum Stocks Rise; IOC Board to Consider Dividend

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd both recorded gains for the fifth consecutive session, with IOC up 0.64% at Rs 187.67 and BPCL up 0.21% at Rs 386.8 as of midday trading. Over the past year, IOC rose 65.36% and BPCL 63%, outperforming the NIFTY's 14.25% increase. IOC's board will meet on March 6, 2026, to consider a second interim dividend following a 322% profit surge in Q3 FY26. The Nifty Energy index showed mixed movement, down 0.22% on the day.
