
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor, India's first bullet train project spanning 508 km, is progressing with significant construction milestones. Civil works, including viaducts and piers, are nearing completion, and electrification has begun at the Purna River crossing in Gujarat's Navsari district. The corridor will connect major industrial regions in Maharashtra and Gujarat, featuring 12 stations and operating at speeds up to 320 km/h, with technical support from Japan.
