
On International Women's Day, Air India operated nine flights featuring women cockpit crews on select international and domestic routes, including London Heathrow, New Delhi, and Mumbai. Some flights were managed entirely by women teams encompassing pilots, cabin crew, flight planners, dispatchers, meteorologists, and controllers. Women make up nearly half of Air India's workforce and represent 16% of its pilots, according to the airline's release.
