
Voltas expects air conditioner prices to rise by 5-15% in 2026 due to higher copper prices, increased production costs from energy efficiency requirements, and a weakening rupee. Despite last year's demand dip caused by unseasonal rains, the company anticipates domestic AC sales to grow 15-20% over 2025, with production capacity at 3 million units. Voltas is also launching AI-enabled ACs, aiming to increase localization and reduce import content while exploring export opportunities.
