Swan Defence Secures Oman Order for Naval Training Ship Export

Swan Defence and Heavy Industries (SDHI) has secured a defence export order from the Government of Oman to supply a 104.25-meter training ship for the Royal Navy of Oman. The vessel, expected to be delivered within 18 months, will support advanced naval training and maritime operations, featuring modern classrooms, accommodation for 70 officer cadets, a navigation system, communications suite, and helicopter operation capability. This deal highlights India's indigenous shipbuilding capabilities and strengthens bilateral maritime cooperation.
