Grubhub has agreed to a $7.15 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit alleging the company added restaurants to its app without contracts between 2019 and 2024. Eligible restaurants that file a valid claim can receive a base payout of $50, with additional compensation based on the duration of unauthorized listing. The settlement also covers attorneys' fees and administrative costs. A separate $3.5 million settlement with Massachusetts regarding pandemic-era fees is also mentioned.
