JSW Motors Limited plans to launch its first vehicle in India by the third quarter of 2026, introducing the Jetour T2-based SUV under its own brand. The SUV will be assembled at JSW's new facility in Maharashtra and is expected to feature a 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain. While the T2 is known internationally for its rugged design inspired by the Land Rover Defender and spacious five-seat layout, JSW aims to establish itself as an independent carmaker separate from its joint venture with MG Motor India. Pricing and drivetrain variants for the Indian market remain unconfirmed.
