Domestic LPG Price Raised by Rs 29 per Cylinder Amid Global Energy Cost Rise
Domestic LPG prices in India have increased by Rs 29 per 14.2-kg cylinder, effective June 7, marking the second hike in three months amid elevated global energy costs linked to the West Asia conflict. The price in Delhi has risen to Rs 942 from Rs 913. Despite these increases, state-owned oil companies continue to incur losses on subsidised LPG sales. The hike coincides with broader fuel price rises, including petrol, diesel, and compressed natural gas, reflecting ongoing volatility in international energy markets.
