EPFO 3.0 to Introduce Core Banking, New Portal, and AI Language Tools

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is set to launch EPFO 3.0, a comprehensive digital overhaul including a new portal, backend software, and AI-powered language translation tools. This upgrade will implement a core banking solution to centralise operations, enabling members to access services nationwide. The reforms aim to support an expanded user base covering organised and unorganised sector workers under new Labour Codes, with EPFO managing separate funds for unorganised and gig workers. The system is designed to handle growth over the next decade.
