Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported a consolidated net loss of around Rs 3,483 crore for Q3 FY26, primarily due to a cyberattack at its Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) unit, which disrupted production and global distribution. Revenue fell about 26% year-on-year to approximately Rs 70,000 crore. Exceptional expenses related to the cyber incident, new labour code, and stamp duty totaled around Rs 1,600 crore. Despite JLR challenges, the domestic passenger vehicle business showed sequential growth with higher volumes and incentives. The company expects significant recovery in Q4 as JLR normalizes operations amid ongoing market and geopolitical pressures.
