Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway to Cut Travel Time to Two to Three Hours by 2024-27

The 260-km Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway, partially operational, aims to reduce travel time between the two cities from about seven hours to two or three hours. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the expressway is expected to be fully commissioned by the end of 2024 or early 2027, with delays due to contractor issues and environmental challenges.
