
Meta Platforms has entered a multiyear AI content licensing agreement with News Corp, reportedly worth up to $50 million annually over three years. This deal allows Meta to use News Corp's US and UK content for AI training and product development. News Corp CEO Robert Thomson noted ongoing advanced negotiations for additional partnerships. Concurrently, Meta is establishing a new applied AI engineering team within its Reality Labs division, led by Maher Saba and reporting to CTO Andrew Bosworth, to enhance AI integration.
