DFS Launches Composite Salary Account Package for Central Government Employees

The Department of Financial Services (DFS) has launched a Composite Salary Account Package for central government employees, integrating banking, insurance, and card benefits into a single account. Designed in consultation with public sector banks, it offers features like zero-balance accounts, concessional loan rates, personal and air accident insurance up to Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 2 crore respectively, and card perks including airport lounge access. The initiative aims to enhance financial security and convenience for employees across all cadres.
