DSM Fresh Foods is acquiring a 51% stake in Avyom Foodtech (AFPL) for approximately Rs 7.5 crore through a preferential allotment. This move signifies DSM's entry into the ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook food solutions market and expansion into export markets. Avyom Foodtech will simultaneously acquire Ambrozia Frozen Foods' processing business, including land, a facility, and machinery, assuming associated liabilities.
