Maharashtra CM Fadnavis to Lead Delegation at World Economic Forum in Davos

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will lead an eight-member state delegation to the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, from January 17 to 24, 2026. The delegation, including Industries Minister Uday Samant and senior officials, aims to promote investment and economic cooperation. The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation will cover travel and accommodation costs. The Confederation of Indian Industry is coordinating Maharashtra's participation at the India Pavilion, with the Ministry of External Affairs approving the visit. A report on the delegation's outcomes will be submitted within a month of return.
