Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has emerged as the second-largest passenger vehicle seller in India by wholesale dispatches through November of the 2025 fiscal year, surpassing Hyundai Motor India and Tata Motors. This rise is attributed to M&M's strategic focus on utility vehicles (SUVs) and continued diesel offerings, a segment that has seen significant growth in market share. The company's decision to exit compact vehicles and passenger cars has proven successful as utility vehicles now dominate the Indian market.
