India Ranks Third Globally with 308 Billionaires; Ambani Tops Hurun Rich List 2026

According to the Hurun Global Rich List 2026, India now has 308 billionaires with a combined wealth of approximately Rs 112 lakh crore, ranking third globally after China and the US. Mumbai leads with 95 billionaires, adding 15 new entrants this year. Mukesh Ambani remains India's richest and Asia's wealthiest individual with Rs 9.8 lakh crore, while Gautam Adani holds second place despite a 14% decline to Rs 7.5 lakh crore. Wealth growth spans sectors including healthcare, energy, automobiles, and financial services.
