Mitra to Merge with Tierra Agrotech in Rs 787 Crore Deal, Eyes 2026 IPO

FMCG startup Mitra is merging with Tierra Agrotech in a Rs 787 crore deal, aiming for a Bombay Stock Exchange listing by September 2026. The combined entity will integrate Mitra's retail and food products with Tierra's agricultural and crop-science operations to enhance supply chains. Founded in 2023, Mitra offers various food products, while Tierra Agrotech, established in 2012, specializes in seed development and agri supply-chain management. The merger, pending regulatory approvals, targets consolidated revenue of Rs 400 crore by FY27.
