India's Wholesale Price Inflation Rises to 2.13% in February 2026

India's wholesale price inflation rose to 2.13% in February 2026, marking an 11-month high and the fourth consecutive monthly increase. The rise was driven by higher prices in manufacturing, basic metals, food articles, textiles, and non-food items, while vegetable prices eased. Inflation in manufactured products increased to 2.92%, and non-food articles inflation rose to 8.80%. Despite global energy price pressures, the fuel and power sector remained in deflation at -3.78%. Retail inflation also increased to 3.2% in February.
